UN Report: Agro-ecology could double food production

In order to be able to feed a world population of 9 billion by 2050, we need to use the most efficient agricultural techniques”, says Olivier de Schutter, VN-reporter on the right to food. Scientific proof shows that agro-ecological methods are leading to better results than the use of chemical fertilizers to increase food production in poor regions.
